This zine is the artist sketch book of tattoo designes. There is very little text and that is in French. Ligne Electrigue translates as 'Power Line'

His drawings are mostly character driven and are intended to show off his skill as a tattoo artist. And skilled he is. The interior pages are a gallery of cleaver designs and lovely illustrations.

If I were a tattoo-getting man, I would let B. Virot tattoo me.

I met Brookes at Printed Matter's Los Angeles Art Book Fair 2026. He is a professional graphic designer and he works for many skate/surf/bike brands.

In his free time, he enjoys making zines with an old color Xerox machine he just happens to have in his garage.

Silent Memories is a collection of high-contrast photos of Joshua Tree State Park. There is little to no text. The photos are printed in either deep green or redish-orange on kraft paper card stock. The layout is skillfully done and the zine is clearly in the artzine catagory.
