I met Brookes at Printed Matter's Los Angeles Art Book Fair 2026. He is a professional graphic designer who makes zines in his spare time. This zine has 20 drawings of Tiki gods with no text to speak of. Brookes said he wanted to restart his drawing practice, and tikis seemed like a good place to start. The dawings are fun and inventive. My copy came with a tiki pin-back button.
